The series of work is a study of light. Various colors come from reflections of the mirror through slightly different angles between the mirror and the scanner. However, mirror can also be a metaphor, which has always been referred as pure heart, Buddhist heart for example in Chinese Chan School of Buddhism, the Sixth Patriarchs of the Chan school Buddhism said, “By nature there is no Bodhi-tree; Nor case of bright mirror; Since intrinsically it is void; Where can the dust fall on?” Although there are beautiful colors in the mirror, intrinsically it is nothing.

It’s something about time.
The Blooming and fading of a bouquet of lily enabled photo paper reborn. It was a wedding of still photography and dynamic and passing life-bloom has faded but time never stops. Life revolved the old photographic paper that had retreated rapidly on the measuring unit of abscissa, got out of the participating in a bustling ritual for one bouquet of lily that was “the future” of it. A pari of old eyes touched the stream of passing life.
The tangible went down, the intangibles floated over my head; and I did not know that to ask. When remembering Zhuang Zhou, it was fairly gentle. The photo paper has been hidden for eight years. Eight years later, I recorded the same moment in seventeen days. The only difference was the change of flowers, and it was insignificant. The recording is not only long time rementation, but is an instant performance and time across as well, in which there are three concepts about time: containing time, performing time and across time.
